Established in 1985, La Trattoria da Tonino is family-owned and family-run. Its character comes from the ease of an authentic neighbourhood restaurant: warm, familiar and attentive without being formal. More than forty years on, the purpose remains the same — to welcome guests thoughtfully and serve traditional Italian food made for sharing.
Flavours inspired by the Italian family table
The menu gives pasta, pizza, seafood and meat specialities a central place. Recipes favour clarity and balance over unnecessary display. The wood-fired oven is part of the restaurant’s culinary identity, shaping the pizzas and giving selected baked dishes their distinctive finish.
Penne alla Siciliana, our signature speciality
Penne alla Siciliana brings together aubergine, tomato sauce and mozzarella. The dish is finished and gratinated in the wood-fired oven, melting the mozzarella and drawing the flavours together. It captures the spirit of the trattoria: a few familiar ingredients prepared to create something generous and comforting.
